Schedule of Events

We have no meetings for June, July, November or December. Meeting are held on the last Friday of the month, unless notified otherwise.

Directions to the Aptos Grange Hall: From Santa Cruz, head south on CA-1, take Park Avenue exit toward New Brighton Beach. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for Cabrillo College. Turn left at Park Avenue, go .4 miles; turn right at Soquel Drive, go 1.2 miles and turn right at Mar Vista Drive. Go .2 mile and turn right into grange parking lot at 2555 Mar Vista Drive.

From Watsonville and points south, head north on CA-1 to Aptos. Take State Park Drive exit, turn right onto State Park Drive for .1 mile and get into left turn lane. Turn left at Soquel Drive. Go .6 mile and turn left at Mar Vista Drive. Drive .2 mile and turn right into grange parking lot at 2555 Mar Vista Drive.

September 2010 September 14–19, 2010 • Santa Cruz County Fair. We need volunteers for the Rose Garden and the Floriculture Building. Please sign up with Janey or Myrna asap. The Fair requires 4 hours of volunteer time from each person in order to receive a free ticket to the fair and an invitation to the volunteer dinner held in October. December 2010 December 5, 2010 • Annual MBRS Holiday Potluck Dinner and Silent Auction. • 4 p.m. • Monterey Vista Mobile Estates Community Room, 144 Holm Road, Watsonville • Open to MBRS members and family • Society will provide ham and turkey. Members are asked to provide appetizers, side dishes, salads and desserts. Potluck assignments will be posted at a later date.
